Plot:
After the fall of Troy, the Greek sailed back but Odysseus didn’t come back with them but he did turn up 10 years later and tell all the adventures that he had passed. His ships were scattered by the storm and they all had a really bad time until they come to stop in one island. It was a beautiful island of Lotus Eaters. Odysseus allowed only three of his best men to land. The Lotus Eaters brought them wine and food. But all the sailors who stay and fix their ship start to get angry so Odysseus shouted and asked them, “Do you want to see your wives and your children again?”. But the food that they ate made them weak so Odysseus and other sailors had to help them get out of the island.
My mother
My mom, she is a wonderful woman she give me life she gave me a happiness she always take care of other person in the family. Since I was a child she always takes care of me even though I grow up a lot but she never change. She always stands beside me. She teaches me what’s good what’s bad she also do the same thing to my sister. The love that mom give to her daughter is a wonderful love no one will love us as much as our mom does. When I make a mistake she blame me because she love me she want me to be a good person in the future. My mom she is such a wonderful woman. She like to help others person even though that person use to do bad thing to her but she don’t care. She always give a chance to others person.
I love my mom more than any one.
•• Loy Krathong ••
Loy Krathong festival is the day that we will float the krathong into the river. The meaning of this day is to say thank you and sorry to the mother of the river. Some people cut their nails to put in their krathong or some people will cut their hair. They believe that the bad things will go out of their life and only the good things will come into their life. This festival happens in November every year at the full moon.
•• What my father means to me ••
My father, he is my super daddy, he has taken care of me since I was born. He knows almost everything about his daughter.
My father, he is not just a father but he is also my friend. I can talk with him about anything, he will listen to any problem I have. He always helps me when I have a problem. He is the one who brings me to the hospital when I am sick. My father loves me very much, and I also love my daddy very much.
Any father loves their daughter and wants them to be good. Be good to your father because your father wants you to be a good person.
•• The Road Less Traveled ••
In every person’s life, they have to have a hard time and every person has a different way to pass that time. It’s up to you, how you choose and how you think about it.
When I was in Grade 10 I had to choose what I wanted to study, English-Math or English-Chinese. At that time I chose math. I thought that when I would take the entrance exam for the univeristy it would be a better choice for me to study. It’s harder to study English-Math right now, but when I grow up it’s going to be better. If I chose English-Chinese at that time I would be really sorry for that because I know myself. Now I prefer to study Math more than Chinese. I think I have chosen the right way for myself.
Sometimes harder ways are going to be the better way. We have only one life. Choose the best thing for youself and be happy with it.
•• The value of English to your future ••
The English language is really important. Nowadays many people can speak English but not many people can speak great English.
In the future for sure English will be the international language so it’s going to be very important. In the future if I can speak English really well I’ll get a better job than people who can’t speak English. In the future if I travel somewhere in Europe I can go on my own because I can speak English.
The English language is really important for everyone around the world. If you can speak more than 2 languages, the future it going to be great. Anyway, language is really important for your life.
•• Why we shouldn’t/should have school uniforms ••
In my opinion, I think we should have school uniforms. This is for many reasons. First, other people will know where we are studying. If we are in a good school, we will be proud of ourselves for wearing this school uniform. Second, when everybody wears a uniform it will look more orderly and it will also look nicer. Third, if other students do something wrong, the police can check with the school and he will know the school because of the uniform that the bad student is wearing. Fourth, students don’t need fashion in school. If we don’t have school uniforms, many people will be really serious about what they wear to school. These are the four reasons why we should have school uniforms.
But, as you see, the world has two sides. There is a good way to do something but there are going to be some bad ways, too. Now I will talk about why we shouldn’t have to wear school uniforms. First, it’s because of freedom. You can wear whatever you want because the clothes won’t damage your studies. Second, if you want to go somewhere after school you don’t have to waste your time coming back home to change your clothes you can just go directly to that place.
